It takes many a documents to be in place so that an organisation runs well. Sirion manages complex services engagements on an integrated platform which helps automate contracts, performance, finance and foster relationship management. Real-time analytics and metrics are applied to give the user an overall view of all activities.
Sirion at its existing stage is a complex contract managment software that has got loaded with features since the past few sprints. This has led to a cognitive overload for the user who has a difficult time in understanding and navigating through the heavy interface. GDD was approacched to re-design the entire user interface and define a strong visual language for the product.
Optimizing work flows of the existing product. This would involve understanding all functions and test out solutions with users.
A strong visual language would help keep visual consistency amongst all the elements of Sirion products.
Ease of switching from one function to the other should be very intutive.
The initial phase involved the design team in a close discussion with the stakeholders, supporting staff and the technology team. This helped all get on to a common nderstanding.
Identifying the key workflows and making them efficient was the key area for intervention. A closer study also revealed the need of a separate app solely targeted at the CEO’s who would need a bird’s eyeview for thier organisation.
The design phase was about working on small increments that would help build a product without having a surprising impact. We were active in making the most of every opportunity given for supervision.
Initial sketches that divide the screen into workzones
Graphical represenatation of supplier reports
Approve invoices and apply contracts with suppliers
The solution worked with all stakeholders from the word go. Good design helped to start discussions that would improve the usability for the consumer. The key functions of the product where now visble , Sirion could look forward to multiple products bieng united by common underlying principles and a good visual language.
